Ntengu Safaris, safari operators since 2015, are the current concessionaires of the Kasonso Busanga Game Management Area (GMA), one of the most-species rich, game management areas in Zambia. The area is vast, spanning 4900 km2, bordering the north-western corner of Kafue National Park in North Western Zambia. Ntengu Safaris manages the Kasonso Busanga GMA in partnership with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) and the local Mubambe Community Resource Board (CRB). The Kasonso Busanga GMA protects a wide variety of ecosystem types ranging from lagoons and rivers to miombo woodland, thicket and large grassy floodplains, as well as a large part of the Busanga Swamps which was declared a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. Ntengu Safaris is led by a passionate young management team that is committed to protecting this area and all its wildlife.
